Delete your Pigtail account
You can delete your Pigtail account and associated account data from the app or request deletion by email. You do not need to reinstall the app to make a request.
Delete from the app
- Open Account.
- Choose Delete profile.
- Follow the confirmation and enter DELETE when asked.
Request deletion without the app
Email [email protected] with the subject “Pigtail account deletion”. State that you want your account deleted and include the phone number associated with it in international format so support can locate the account.
Support must verify that the request belongs to you before deleting anything. Never include a password or one-time code. If you no longer control the registered phone number, explain that in your request so support can discuss a safe verification method.
What deletion removes
Deletion removes your account and profile, uploaded profile photos, private Passport records and photos, Signals, matches and associated messages, account-linked analytics, sessions, and notification registrations. Other people may have kept screenshots or files you shared outside Pigtail; we cannot delete those copies.
Safety reports are stored separately for abuse investigations. Mention them if your request also concerns report information. Backup copies and records that must be retained for legal or safety reasons follow the operator's retention policy. Support can explain an applicable retention exception when processing your request.
Deleting or uninstalling the app does not by itself delete your account. Signing out clears the app's saved private Passport data on that device; it does not remove images you exported to your photo library.
